Ladys Mile Beach open water diving

Day 1: The Ocean Begins

Amathounta ancient diving

Day 2: Myths Beneath the Waves

Military Shipwreck Diving

Day 3: Lost Cities Below

We begin with an introductory pool session where participants learn essential diving theory and safety practices. Then we move to Lady's Mile Beach for their first open water dive and hands-on experience. In the cultural program, teens explore ancient beliefs about water as the origin of life — from the Egyptian Nun to Mesopotamian Tiamat — and create fantastical ocean maps and sea worlds in a creative workshop that brings these ideas to life.

Our dive takes place at the ancient port of Amathounta, where participants swim among submerged archaeological ruins. The cultural session explores sea gods, monsters, and ancient fears from Poseidon to medieval maps. A playful underwater treasure hunt adds adventure, while a hands-on mask-making workshop allows campers to design their own symbolic sea creature visors.

Agia Trias Shipwreck Diving

We dive by boat near the military shipwreck between Limassol Marina and the New Port, where teens practice navigation and explore depth and marine structures. The day continues with the legends of Atlantis and Nāga kingdoms. Participants build “lost city” ruins from natural materials and create original stories of sunken civilizations inspired by their underwater discoveries.

Limassol Reef Diving

Day 4: Spirits of the Deep

At the Agia Trias shipwreck, surrounded by amphorae and dragonfish, we introduce meditative diving — practicing breathwork and awareness to experience water as a transition space. In the cultural workshop, teens explore spirit-water beliefs from the Styx to mermaids, then craft ritual boats and set them afloat with candlelight in an evening reflection ceremony.

Day 5: Into the Unknown

The final dive takes place at the Bedrock Reef in Limassol Harbor, where we face rugged terrain and rich marine life in a final underwater challenge. Campers reflect on modern ocean myths and deep-sea mysteries, then take part in an underwater quest. To close the day, teams collaboratively build a large “modern sea monster” sculpture from natural and found materials.

International Certification

Every participant who completes the camp will receive an official PADI certification, recognized worldwide. Diving sessions are organized by Seaworld Diving Adventures, one of Cyprus' most respected professional diving teams, ensuring the highest standards of training, safety, and personal attention.

Participants' certifications will be available digitally and can be accessed anytime through the official PADI mobile app. Each certificate is linked to a personal profile, allowing verification and recognition internationally.
